A NEW ALBUM’S ON ITS WAY!

Hey friends, 

I’m so grateful for your continued support of what I do out there in the world. I’m making a new album and need help bringing it to life. To save money on fees, we are doing our own fundraiser rather than using Kickstarter. It launches today, right now! You’re a part of the launch!

This new record is different from all the others. I recorded the whole thing singing and playing at the same time rather than in pieces or layers. The result is a much more intimate feel for the album. It’s as if I’m playing the songs right in your living room, or a small venue exactly as most of you have heard through the years. It’s an up-close and personal version of every guitar strum and lyric sung. 

The title of the album is Just You and Me to honor this uniquely intimate way to offer these songs. I think it’s going to be one of your favorites. With all respect to the robots that sometimes make our lives easier, this is 100% human. All sounds come solely from this imperfect, earnest, grateful, hopeful human writing you right now…and his guitar and ukulele.

You may wonder how we can do this for only $12,500 when earlier albums have cost up to $25,000. The cost savings came with the simple way of performing the songs and the absence of lots of instruments like bass, drums, synth, strings, winds, kazoos or accordions joining in the fun. I don’t think you will miss them. It’s also why we are only doing the fundraiser for 30 days.
